Our Mission
M and M Productions was founded to create a safe space for experimenting with film styles and techniques, and to explore what makes a film truly 'good.' To achieve this, we challenge ourselves to produce short films of 10 minutes or less, helping us sharpen our abilities and present stories that resonate deeply with our audience.

Summer Mompoint
Co-Producer & Director
Summer Mompoint is a second-year Radio-Television-Film student with a minor in Professional Sales and Business Development at the University of Texas at Austin.
Growing up in a home filled with movies and TV shows, she developed a passion for storytelling. She began perusing the arts, acting on stage and crewing for theatre productions. However, once a camera entered her had, you couldn't get it her to let go.
Summer now aspires to create thought-provoking stories that challenge conventions and explore nontraditional narratives.
Jadia Manakalani
Co-Producer & Director of Photography
Jadia Manakalani is a second-year film student at the University of Texas at Austin.

After spending 10 years in theater, she found out how much she loves visual storytelling... through a camera.

Jadia now aims to create impactful stories that experiment with the capabilities of camerawork through creative visual storytelling.
Tomas Treviño
Co-Producer & Director
Tomas Treviño is a second-year Radio-Television-Student student attending the University of Texas at Austin.
After having grown a love for filming through a secondary passion in skateboarding, Tomas developed an ability to express his creativity through production and visual arts.
Tomas currently spends his time taking up any opportunities that allow him to both express himself and expand his professional portfolio. He aims to produce stories that challenge industry conventions by incorporating visual experimentation and creative direction.
Philip Compton
Head Editor
Philip Compton is a second-year film student at the University of Texas at Austin.
After discovering an interest in video and film editing at a young age, he has spent nearly a decade refining his skills and discovering his creative style.
Moving forward, Philip hopes to continue to create content that truly impacts those who experience it.
